Well I was on padaoregon.org and then transfered Elizabeth Leach Gallery where I was browsing and discovered Julia Mangold.
The underlying idea of her art is to explore shape, form and materiality and transform them into sculpures.
Her work is dull in a way but always is different. It's has more to it as it shows weight from her shapes and form. Typically, her works are pretty simple but go beyond simplicity and deal with more.
She kind of bases her art off the elements and priciples of art since her "concentration" so to speak is based on shape and form and she deals' with textures and color as well.
